Open to BCCC students registered with the Accessibility Office

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: Registered with BCCC's Accessibility Office. Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits majoring in a program of study in one of the College's academic departments. Intend to re-enroll at BCCC in a minimum of six (6) credits in the spring semester after the award is made in the fall.

Amanda Sancataldo Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Amount varies

Open to female students registered with the Accessibility Office

This scholarship provides assistive technology to female students who have a disability, distinguished themselves by their commitment to education, and are registered with BCCC's Accessibility Office. Applicants must have a need for some type of assistive/adaptive technology.

Center for Independent Living of Bucks County Scholarship $750.00

Open to BCCC students registered with the Accessibility Office

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: A current or inccoming BCCC student registered with BCCC's Accessibility Office. Intend to enroll or re-enroll at BCCC in the fall semester after the award is made in the spring.

Deborah E. Dougherty Memorial Scholarship Endowment minimum $250.00

Open to BCCC students who use/receive services from the College's Accessibility Office

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: Use/receive services from BCCC’s Accessibility Office. Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Major in a program in one of the College’s six academic departments. Preference is given to non-traditional applicants who are returning students.

  • A letter of recommendation on letterhead is required in order to apply for this scholarship

Foundations Community Partnership Scholarship for Individuals with Disabilities $1250.00

Open to BCCC students registered with the Accessibility Office

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: Registered with BCCC's Accessibility Office. Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits, majoring in a program of study in one of the College's academic departments. Completed a minimum of twenty-four (24) credits at BCCC. Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5. Intend to re-enroll at BCCC in a minimum of six (6) credits in the fall semester after the award is made in the spring.

Also:

  • A letter of recommendation on letterhead is required in order to apply for this scholarship

Louis C. Catalanotti Scholarship $750.00

Open to BCCC students majoring in a program in the Department of the Arts and registered with the Accessibility Office

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: A current BCCC student registered with BCCC's Accessibility Office and majoring in a program of study in the Department of the Arts. Intend to re-enroll at BCCC in the fall semester after the award is made in the spring.

Mirca Liberti Scholarship $750.00

Open to BCCC students who major in a field of study that will work closely with disabled people.

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: A current BCCC student majoring in a field of study that will work closely with disabled people. Intend to enroll or re-enroll at BCCC in the fall semester after the award is made in the spring.

Neuber Endowment for the Advancement of Physically Disabled Bucks County Residents $225.00

Open to BCCC students with a physical or learning disability

This scholarship is awarded to a current BCCC student who is physically disabled, has become permanently disabled as the direct result of domestic violence, and/or has a learning disability. Preference in the selection process is given to applicants who have a physical disability.

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5, and major in a program in one of the College’s six academic departments. Preference is give to applicants who major in either business studies or social services. Preference is given to applicants who demonstarte financial need as determined by BCCC's Financial Aid office, and who reside in Bucks County.

Ruth H. Goldsmith Scholarship minimum $1,000.00

Open to BCCC students who have low vision or are legally blind

Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of application: Enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credits and majoring in a program in one of the College's six academic departments. Must have low vision, or be legally blind, and reside in Bucks County. Possess a minimum cumulative grade point avergae of 2.0 unless applying as a first semester student.
