Bio:
Brenda Seibert is an Assistant Professor in the Business + Innovation Department. She also serves as Program Director of the Paralegal Program, and Coordinator for the Paralegal area. In 2020, she was awarded the Bucks County Community College Faculty Above and Beyond Award. She serves as an advisor to the Paralegal Club and oversees the Bucks County Community College Student Mock Trial Competition, which won Program of the Year in 2019. She also serves on the college’s General Education committee. She is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association, and the American Association for Paralegal Education. She is also licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and in New Jersey. Professor Seibert has presented on various topics at the Bucks County Bar Association, TRT-CLE, The American Association for Paralegal Education Regional Conference, Montgomery County Community College Learning and Technology Conference, and the Bucks County Community College Faculty of the Future Conference. Professor Seibert practiced law for seven years before she began teaching at Bucks County Community College. As an attorney, she represented major department stores, national drugstore chains, and manufacturers of large-scale construction equipment. In law school, Professor Seibert served on the Environmental Law Moot Court Team, and as vice-president of both the Women's Law Caucus and the Sports, Entertainment and Art Law Society. She was also awarded the Jefferson Rights Award, the Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction Excellence for the Future award, and the D.T. Marrone Scholarship.
