Bio:
My interest in History and Museums began with the Mercer Museum/Bucks County Historical Society when I was a child. My passion for the field has never since waned! I have a B.A. in History and Anthropology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a M.A. in History Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program/State University of New York at Oneonta. For a large part of my career, I was employed by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission as a Regional Curator, Site Curator, and as the Historic Site Administrator of Washington Crossing Historic Park. In addition to teaching in the Historic Preservation Program, I currently work as a museum consultant specializing in collections care/management, exhibit, and research related projects. Recently I have been conducting diversity research for the Pennsylvania Lumber Heritage Region and the Oil Region Alliance. Whatever the task, I always enjoy learning something new!
