The Telecommunications Coordinator and Analyst’s role is to coordinate strategies for – and ensure the integrity of – inhouse voice equipment, future cloud-based VoIP systems and its associated network connections. This includes configuring and optimizing all telephone systems and services, voicemail, fax and VoIP communication systems, online cloud-based call center, and voice conferencing environments, both internally and those integrated with Internet-based services. This position administers the college voice and data infrastructure and services, under the direction of the Director, Network and Infrastructure. This position manages telecommunications projects and coordinates requests for campus personnel and facilities that fall within the scope of responsibility. The Telecommunications Coordinator and Analyst is the primary contact for service providers as related to telecommunications projects, call center, and future cloud-based telephony solutions.
The work of this position also involves evaluating present systems and recommending system expansion, modification, and replacement, planning technology roadmaps, future cloud-based VoIP systems, and configuring and optimizing all existing VoIP systems and services, both internally and those integrated with Internet-based SIP services. 24/7 availability as needed and occasional travel between college locations; this position sometimes requires nights, weekend, and holiday work hours for maintenance, upgrades, and/or emergencies. Bucks plans to move its telecom infrastructure and services to the cloud within the next 18 months. The incumbent will be responsible for leading that project. Preference will be given to anyone who has experience moving on-premise telecom infrastructure to cloud services.
Salary Range: $51,690 - $66,077 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Requirements Include:
- Associate degree and 4 year work experience
- Functional knowledge of telecommunications and network systems, including edge switches, core switches, firewalls, routers, wireless systems, telecommunications and network topologies, VoIP telephony systems, call centers, voicemail systems, and unified communications systems
- Experience working with Telecom in hybrid on-premise/cloud environments
- Experience with cloud telecom vendors and systems
- Experience working with cloud-based call centers, and building/maintaining call trees within a call center
- Working knowledge of telecommunications protocols
- (Preferred Qualification) Bachelor's degree
