The full-time Grounds position is responsible for performing all tasks related to maintaining the campus grounds safely and efficiently. This includes but is not limited to campus cleanup (litter etc.), mowing, tree and shrub care, landscape planting, landscape construction, athletic field maintenance, equipment repair and snow/ice removal. Overtime hours may be required to reopen the College campuses in the event of weather emergencies. Occasionally, the Grounds II position will aid maintenance staff and perform landscape duties as directed at any of the 3 College satellite campuses.
The first shift start time for this position is 6:00am ending at 2:30pm, Monday thru Friday.
A valid driver’s license and pre-placement physical are required for this position.
Hourly Rate: $21.63
Position will remain open until filled.
Minimum Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or general equivalency.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- 2-3 years of landscape experience.
- Ability to perform all operations safely.
- Ability to effectively deal with all levels of the campus community with professionalism.
