Web Content Specialist

The Web Content Specialist is a key member of the web team. They will be responsible for web content updates and writing for digital communications. They will work with departments across all areas to implement messaging and content that represents the college in a consistent, accessible, and engaging manner that aligns with brand standards. This position will assist with administration of the CMS and serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting with content editors. This position will also collaborate with the rest of the web team to identify areas in need of improvement and come up with solutions to improve the web experience.

Assistant Director, Special Projects
This position recruits, supports, and manages all duties and special projects relative to select non-traditional populations, i.e. High School Enrichment/Early College, Dual Enrollment, and International (F-1) students. This includes regular interface with Student Accounts and oversight of any source of tuition funding, such as that received via the Foundation Office. Additionally, this position will serve as a secondary high school recruiter for individual visits and presentations as necessary. Lastly, the role of Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) with Homeland Security will be a function of this position, which includes maintenance of SEVIS records in accord with Student and Exchange Visitor Program regulations and carries responsibility to ensure compliance. NOTE: A Study Abroad program was ready to launch but delayed due to COVID. The program will be revisited when safe to do so. This position will re-establish and administer a new program, and has a unique degree of complexity inherent in its execution.

Telecommunications Coordinator and Analyst

The Telecommunications Coordinator and Analyst’s role is to coordinate strategies for – and ensure the integrity of – inhouse voice equipment, future cloud-based VoIP systems and its associated network connections. This includes configuring and optimizing all telephone systems and services, voicemail, fax and VoIP communication systems, online cloud-based call center, and voice conferencing environments, both internally and those integrated with Internet-based services. This position administers the college voice and data infrastructure and services, under the direction of the Director, Network and Infrastructure. He/she manages telecommunications projects and coordinates requests for campus personnel and facilities that fall within the scope of responsibility. She/he is the primary contact for service providers as related to telecommunications projects, call center, and future cloud-based telephony solutions. The work of this position also involves evaluating present systems and recommending system expansion, modification, and replacement, planning technology roadmaps, future cloud-based VoIP systems, and configuring and optimizing all existing VoIP systems and services, both internally and those integrated with Internet-based SIP services. 24/7 availability as needed and occasional travel between college locations; this position sometimes requires nights, weekend, and holiday work hours for maintenance, upgrades, and/or emergencies.

The Bucks County Community College Campus Information Center is staffed by Information Representatives, who are the "face and voice" of the College, as front line responders to inbound inquiries via phone and e-mail to Bucks. The Information Representatives serve as Bucks Ambassadors, and Bucks Information Portal Experts, acting as the link between prospective/enrolled/graduated students and all other constituencies (our "customers") and Bucks. The Information Representatives are essential to the success of the Bucks Campus Information Center.

The Maintenance I - Grounds position will be responsible for mowing and caring of grass areas, cleaning up of litter, etc.; caring of trees and shrubs; snow/ice removal and landscaping; construction, concrete, rough carpentry, equipment repair, and maintenance. Occasionally, this position will aid maintenance staff and perform landscape duties as directed at any of the 3 College satellite campuses.
Coordinator, Scholarships & Stewardship

The Coordinator of Scholarships & Stewardships is charged with the administration of the scholarship and endowment programs/funds, stewardship of scholarship donors, assist with the implementation of the major gifts program, and assist the Executive Director, Foundation & Alumni Relations, and other Foundation staff members in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding current and new donors.
Specialized Support, Accounts Payable/Budget & Internal Audit
Review invoices for accuracy along with verifying adequate budget within a department. Request budget transfers when a budget deficiency is recognized and then implementing the budget adjustment. Assist with annual budget process by making adjustments to the budgets within Colleague as requested by immediate supervisor. Assist in the internal audit process as needed. Process accounts payable checks and distribute them as required. The employee must also maintain complete and accurate accounts payable files, which are subject to annual state and independent accounting firm audits. The individual also completes special projects as assigned by the Accounts Payable Supervisor or the Executive Director of Budgets and Internal Audit. Assumes duties of the Supervisor of Accounts Payable in her/his absence.

Help Desk Technician I
Department: Information Technology Services
The primary purpose of this position is to provide one-stop Help Desk support services of campus technologies to faculty, staff, and students at all three College campuses. Client assistance is provided through direct face-to-face contact, classroom and training settings, emails, Help Desk tickets, and phone and voicemail contacts. In order to provide these services the incumbent must be proficient on the most current versions of the Microsoft Office Suite, multiple operating systems including Windows 7 – 10, and the various MAC OS’, College application systems including the ERP system, the Learning Management System and the College’s portal, various Internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Edge. Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, and other software that is specific to a particular area. The incumbent is expected to answer basic Tier One questions independently and be comfortable escalating Tier Two and higher level questions to more senior level Help Desk staff. The incumbent will work under the close supervision of more senior Help Desk staff members and the Help Desk Director and will set daily priorities based on input from the senior staff.
The Specialized Support position is involved in the day-to-day functioning of the Payroll Department. The Payroll Specialist assists the Payroll Administrator with processing the bi-weekly college payroll. They must represent Payroll and take an active part in any applicable process that affects how the College pays its employees. Must a times act as the department’s liaison with various departments and outside entities. Responsibilities include assisting with the College's bi-weekly payroll and ensuring it is completed on an accurate and timely basis, filing, reporting, answering phones, general clerical and must represent Payroll in a positive manner utilizing a high level of customer service and take an active part in any processes that affect how the College's pays it's employees.
Assistant Director, Custodial Services

Supervise, plan, organize, assign, inspect, develop, monitor, and evaluate the work assignments of a crew of night shift custodians, who are responsible for providing all aspects of custodial services
The Senior Accountant reports to the Assistant Controller is responsible for participating in managing the accounting and reporting of the College's financial systems, controls and reports, as well as financial activities of all State Local and Federal programs. The Senior Accountant is responsible for monitoring and reconciling the College's four complex main operating bank accounts. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for monitoring and reporting the Financial Aid and Loan Fund accounts, including posting due to/from transactions for Financial Aid and Department of Education allocation draw-downs. Additionally, the Senior Accountant spearheads ongoing Unclaimed Property controls and reporting, handles monthly/quarterly statement processing for the Bucks County Community College Foundation, provides data for required College reporting to outside agencies and assists in preparing the College's Financial Statements which are distributed to the College's Board of Directors. Additionally, the Senior Accountant acts as the backup to the Assistant Controller in his/her absence.
