Bio:
Dr. Carolina Blatt is an art educator, arts administrator and scholar. She is the Dean of Visual and Performing Arts at Bucks County Community College, where she supports programs that connect students with the arts and their communities.
Before joining Bucks, Blatt held leadership and faculty positions at Rowan University, the University of the Arts, The College of New Jersey and Georgia Gwinnett College. Her teaching and research focus on community engagement, social connections and collaborative arts projects.
Blatt’s research has been presented nationally and internationally and published in leading art education journals, including Studies in Art Education, Arts Education Policy Review, Journal for Learning Through the Arts, Journal of Social Theory on Art Education and International Journal of Education & the Arts. Her work has also appeared in CNN.com.
In 2021, Blatt received the Higher Education Award from the Art Educators of New Jersey. In 2022, she was selected for the National Art Education Association’s School for Art Leaders cohort.
